History: Dorian was always a good, church-going lad. Loved to volunteer at his community, loved his family, and never had a selfish thought in his life.
When the cancer hit him, his family was devastated. They could never afford treatment.
It was his community, friends and neighbors who all knew him that all banded together and raised money for treatment, and Dorian made it through. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to him, a woman visited him after the final operation. A number of people from the community had given him lovely visits and he probably would not recognize the woman whose name is Eve. Her hand grazed his, only for a moment, and Dorian was infected with a unique mutagenic virus that inserted in his D.N.A. a very special set of X-Genes, extracted from Ororo Monroe.
After monitoring him for a year, she abandoned the project, believing it to be a failure, and left him to his life, incase Eve could make use of him at some point in the future.
Five years later, Dorian was simply walking to his home one late night after leaving a soup kitchen on a clear and bright night, full moon hanging high in the air. A bolt of white, hot, lightning shot down from the sky, and Dorian was thrown from his place into the street.
He was dead for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
It was only later, in the ambulance, he awoke to life, his X-Genes activated. Now empowered by a force he refers only to as "the Storm", Dorian found refuge at Xavier's.
