History (past & leading up to rp):  No one really knows where Keaka came from and not many know her real name. To most, she just appeared into the world. In actuality, Keaka was born in  Honolulu, Hawaii. Due to both of her parents being in the military, however, she moved around a lot. She was usually out of America, living in many places in Europe and Asia. She lived in places such as Germany, England, Korea, and Japan. Most of her teenage years was spent living in Japan. Due to being moved around a lot, she took classes online. Her mother also enrolled her in martial art and gymnastic classes. This was so she didn't spend all of her time indoors, and so she could make friends. Around 14, her mother enrolled her in a sword fighting class as well. This was where she spent most of her time, eventually becoming an expert at most things having to do with knives or swords. She became quite talented at her three extracurricular classes by time they moved back to America when she was 17. She spent her senior year in a high school in Hawaii, her mother retiring from the military after Keaka's father diagnosis with cancer. After high school, Keaka moved to California to go to college. Her father passed away that year, causing her to forget college and move back in with her mother to help support her. They moved from Hawaii to Denver, Colorado when Keaka was 20 where Keaka joined the local police force. Sometime in that year, she left the force and started fighting crime on her own, taking up the name Katana. She did this due to her discovering her mutant powers during a one on one with a suspected murder. She joined the League of Shadows when she was 24, helping them wherever they happened to be. She still visits her mother, but on the down low. The League doesn't know about her past, and she likes to keep it that way.
