Description of Power(s): Ace is able to absorb surrounding neon gas. He'd then be able to shape and manipulate the element, creating projectiles or constructs. He'd also be able to use his supply to mimic neon, becoming lighter than Oxygen. With this, he could air-walk or glide.
Weaknesses of Power(s): Ace is not able to generate neon, instead relying on the supply present in his surroundings. This means his supply is limited, making a constant stream of projectiles or constructs impossible. This also limits his time with the 'neon' form, which depletes his stored neon much faster.

History (past & leading up to rp): Ace had grown up with a somewhat normal childhood, though most everything about it--From his early wardrobe to his hobbies--were the result of a clash between artistic quality and intellectual value. This was due to his parents' differences in style. His father was much more intellectually-leaning, being a well-known journalist in his area. His mother was just as locally popular, though for her art, unlimited by mediums and convention.
Once he became old enough to start developing his own identity, he leaned more toward his mother's guide, though selective elements of his father's input became evident, especially in his choice of both writing and graphic design as hobbies. Though he started defacing property when he was thirteen, using various tools to turn bathroom stall walls and desktops into sketchbook pages. Not long after this development, his abilities manifested, during experimentation with spray painting in an inner-city alleyway. The first, accidental use of his ability forced him into his neon form, though only lasting seconds. He had tried to keep the ability secret--which wasn't hard considering neon's rarity--Though eventually he was discovered. Luckily enough, it was by his own parents, who'd sent him to Xavier's School soon after.
